Go Green!!

Today, April 22nd marks the 40th Anniversary of 'Earth Day', a day which is celebrated in almost 200 countries around the world to bring awareness to the importance of being environmentally friendly and diversify the environmental movement worldwide. This definitely is an amazing cause, but did you know that this concept has been taught and practiced in our religion for more than 1400 years? Muslims have long had a responsibility to be "Green" & environmentally friendly long before these terms became as common as they are today. Subhan Allah!!
